Apply Federal Ministry of Education Scholarship 2024

The Honourable Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, has announced the opening of applications for the Nigeria Award Scholarship for the 2024/2025 academic year. This scholarship is available to eligible Nigerians pursuing higher education in public tertiary institutions within Nigeria.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Postgraduate Studies: Applicants must hold a first degree with a minimum of Second Class Honours Upper Division. They must be registered full-time students at Federal or State Universities.
• Undergraduate, HND, and NCE Studies: Applicants must be full-time students in their second year or beyond at Federal or State Universities, Polytechnics, Monotechnics, or Colleges of Education. For undergraduate scholarships, including for physically challenged students, a minimum Cumulative Grade Points Aggregate (CGPA) of 4.0 on a 5-point scale or 5.0 on a 7-point scale is required. For NCE and HND applicants, a CGPA of 3.5 and above on a 4.0 scale is needed.

Important Information:

• The scholarship is only valid for studies within Nigeria and will commence at the beginning of the academic session.
• It cannot be held concurrently with any other award and is not applicable for part-time studies.
• Applicants are not permitted to change their course or institution while benefiting from the scholarship.
