NNPC-SNEPCO National University Scholarship Programme 2024: Applications Now Open
The Shell Nigeria Exploration and Production Company Limited (SNEPCo), in collaboration with the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited and its partners, is committed to promoting academic excellence and enhancing the skills of young Nigerians. As part of this initiative, SNEPCo provides annual grants to successful applicants from their second year until the completion of their undergraduate degree programmes. The co-venture partners are now inviting applications from qualified Nigerian students for the 2024 NNPC-SNEPCO National University Scholarship Programme.
Eligible undergraduate students enrolled in courses accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC) in Nigerian universities are encouraged to apply electronically for the 2024 NNPC-SNEPCO National University Scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Applicants must be Nigerian citizens.
- Currently be in their second year of full-time study at a Nigerian university accredited by NUC.
- Have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a 5-grade system or the equivalent in other grading systems.
- Not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship from an entity in the oil and gas industry, either national or international.
Note: Female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Application Guidelines:
- Only the top 10 candidates from each of the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory will be shortlisted for academic verification prior to the scholarship offer.
- Applications must be received by the specified deadline via the scholarship portal ONLY.
- Only candidates meeting the eligibility criteria will be invited for a monitored computer-based test.
- Candidates with falsified results will be disqualified.
- Only candidates who successfully satisfy the above criteria will be contacted to receive the scholarship award.
- All scholars must maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 per session, in a 5-grade system or the equivalent in other grading systems, to sustain the award.
