Lilin Baba, also known as Shu’aibu Ahmed Abbas, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record executive, film actor, and entrepreneur.
Born on January 1, 1992, in Gwoza, Borno State, Nigeria, he gained recognition in the Kannywood film industry for his role in his debut movie, “Hauwa Kulu.”
He has been active in the entertainment industry since 2016 and has achieved notable success in both music and film.
Early in his career, Lilin Baba used to sell ice blocks at a local market in Fagge Local Government in Kano. After moving to Abuja with his brother, he ventured into the car and mortgage business. However, his passion for music eventually led him to pursue a career in the industry.
With the help of producers ‘Shadow’ and ‘Garkuwa,’ Lilin Baba released his debut song, “Arewa.” He has collaborated with various artists, including Bala Usher and Mr. Cash.
He has also worked with prominent figures in the Nigerian music industry such as Mr. Bangis, Adam A. Zango, Don Adah, and Bash Em. Lilin Baba even traveled to Lagos to work with some of the biggest music producers in the industry, such as Blaisebeatz (Obah).
