Nigerian Army Releases Shortlist for 84 Regular Intake 2024: Screening Guidelines

The Nigerian Army has announced the release of the shortlist for candidates who applied for the 84 Regular Recruits Intake 2024 for trade and non-trade men and women. All applicants are advised to check the list of shortlisted candidates and prepare for the upcoming recruitment screening exercise. The screening will take place from December 5 to December 18, 2024, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Screening Exercise Details and Requirements

Shortlisted candidates are required to report to their respective states of origin for the screening exercise. Candidates must bring the following documents and items:

  1. Original copies of WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB certificates in a file jacket.
  2. Printed Bank Verification Number (BVN) certificate authenticated by a bank.
  3. Valid birth certificate issued by the National Population Commission, a hospital, or the Local Government Council of birth, or a valid age declaration.
  4. Valid certificate of state of origin.
  5. WASCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB online scratch card.
  6. Completed copies of the printouts from the recruitment portal, including guarantor forms.
  7. Two pairs each of plain white T-shirts and blue shorts.
  8. A pair each of white canvas shoes and white socks.
  9. Trade Test/City Guild Certificate (for tradesmen/women only).

Candidates should note that any alterations to their documents will render them invalid, leading to disqualification. Additionally, the use of electronic, mobile, and recording devices is strictly prohibited during the exercise. A high standard of discipline is expected from all participants, and any violation of the instructions will result in disqualification.
