The National Council on Privatisation (NCP) is the apex body responsible for the privatization and commercialization of public enterprises in Nigeria.

The NCP is chaired by the Vice President and has other members including the Attorney General of the Federation, the Ministers of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Industry, Trade and Investment, and the Director General of the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE).

The salary structure of the NCP is based on the Harmonized Public Service Salary Scale (HPSS), which is the unified salary scale for all civil servants in Nigeria.

The HPSS has 17 levels, with each level having its own salary range.
