NPC Announces Training and Census Dates for 2024
The National Population Commission (NPC) of Nigeria has announced the commencement dates for the training and screening of enumerators for the 2024 population census.
The NPC has scheduled the training for all temporary workers, who will conduct the door-to-door population count, to begin on February 6, 2024. These workers will undergo thorough training to ensure accurate and efficient data collection across Nigeria.
The census is set to take place from March 29, 2024, to April 2, 2024. Prior to this, a screening process will be conducted in all local government areas, taking approximately 10 days to complete.
The NPC also stated that the final list of successful candidates for the national census will be released on February 6, 2024. These candidates will be responsible for the on-the-ground enumeration during the census period.
