How to apply for NCS Jim ovia 2022, scholarship for Nigerian post-graduate and undergraduate.
This scholarship which called NCS Jim ovia by the Nigerian computer society (NCS) in a way of improving the society and support education and research development. This scholarship were designed to help the student to achieve their dreams.
Further more the scholarship were designed to improve the IT education and research development in the nigeria to help those who have a dream of development their educational experiences.
The main objective of this scholarship.
* Support and promote Computing/ Information Technology Education in Nigeria.
*Assist in developing the needed manpower for the technological advancement of the nation.
Categories of applicants.
#. 5 PhD students.
#. 10 master degree students.
#. 20 undergraduate degree students.
A Guidance for all the applicants.
1. The scholarship is awarded to undergraduates and postgraduates (M.Sc. and Ph.D.) in all fields of Computer Science and Information Technology (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, etc.
2. An applicant must have a minimum of Second-Class Upper is required.
3. The Award/Grant is expected to be channeled towards tuition, accommodation, books, and research materials.
4. The Scholarship/Awards/Grant is based on your activities/visibility at local chapter and national levels of the Society.
5. The Award is a one time opportunity during a course of study.
6. The scholarship amount is paid twice in two consecutive years subject to satisfactory academic performance.
7. Registered and financially up to date NCS members are eligible to benefit from the fund.
8. Other conditions as may be determined by NCS from time-to-time.
If you are student in higher institution and you want apply you must have the following:-
1. Name of Student,
2. Name of Institution,
3. Course of Study,
4. Matriculation number,
5. Current level and academic session,
6. Cumulative grade point average (CGPA),
7. A copy of signed and stamped verification letter from the respective institution confirming the details stated above for each student.
